WWI Postcard Collection

Over 40 years ago, I was given a collection of postcards from an old lady my Mum and Dad used to give a lift to church to. In it there are several which I believe date back to WWI.

Each set is a series of pictures and a poem. One of these has a hand-written note on the back dated Oct 16, 1918.  

The author writes “…We’re back from the line just now. It is a real treat as we’ve had a busy time lately. The weather is getting wintry now… “.
