The Wedding of Lucy Joy Morris and Adam Matthew Hope, Saturday 17th August 2019, All Saints Church, Wokingham
Wedding bells were ‘a ringing’ as our Musical Director Lucy Joy Morris became Mrs Lucy Joy Hope.

With music at the heart of both Lucy and Adam’s lives, what a feast of harmony the ceremony turned out to be! Adam also has a musical background and is Musical Director of The Canbury Singers, Kingston who we shared a concert with earlier this year.
The congregation (including many members from Reading A440) gave a spectacular rendition of Parry’s ‘I was Glad’. This was accompanied by brass fanfare and full organ and was a truly wonderful setting for the beautiful bride to walk down the aisle!
Further hymns including Angel Voices, We Need Each Other’s Voice to Sing and How Shall I Sing that Majesty were sung with harmonies, descants (written by Hope/Morris) and full congregational gusto! We were also treated to magical singing by a choir of Lucy and Adam’s friends of Set me as a Seal (Rene Clausen) and Ave Maria (Franz Biebl). This was followed by an exquisite piece for violin & piano – Salut D’Amour (Elgar) also played by friends of the bride and groom.
Music maketh happiness and it was certainly a beautiful backdrop to this wonderful occasion!!!
Congratulations, blessings and happiness to Lucy and Adam for their future together.
